Deanna L. (Ladd) Mazza

Deanna L. (Ladd) Mazza, 79, recently of Bridgton, Maine and formerly of Salem, Mass., passed peacefully on the morning of Sunday, September 17, in Newmarket, N.H., after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on September 18, 1937, in Lynn, Mass., to the late George E. and Madeline (Gorse) Ladd.
Raised and educated in Lynn, Deanna was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She married Charles (Buzzy) A. Mazza in 1956, and the couple raised their family in Salem, where they resided for 45 years. They worked side by side in their home running Mazza Signs. They built their lake house on Long Lake in Bridgton, Maine and retired there, where they enjoyed many years of special memories with family and friends. Deanna and Buzzy were married and inseparable for 61 years.
Deanna will be remembered most for her love and devotion to her family, her love of music, dancing and sunshine. She was a very special mother and wife and will be dearly missed and forever cherished by her family. 
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Charles; son, David and his wife, Kris of New Vineyard, Maine and their children, Pearl and Eli, and great-grandson Oliver; daughter, Cindy and husband, Scott Brennan of West Newbury, Mass., and their sons, Drew, Sam and Luke; daughter, Linda and husband, John Maffeo of Wake Forest, N.C., and their daughters, Jessica, Jamie and Taylor; daughter, Lisa and husband, John Kennedy of No. Berwick, Maine and their sons, Bruce and Devyn. She is also survived by her brother, Wesley Ladd and his wife, Kathy of Lynnfield, Mass., and their families; and several dear friends.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at The Pines in Newmarket, N.H., and Rockingham VNA and Hospice for their compassion, care and support.
