Clinton R.'s Story
Clinton R. Beaven, 82, formerly of Rowley and Beverly, beloved husband of Doris Ann (Faucette) Beaven, died Thursday, June 22, 2017, at the Lahey Medical Center in Peabody.
Born in Kansas City, Mo., he was the son of the late Clinton R. Sr. and Anna M. (Lang) Beaven. He was raised in Lynbrook, Long Island, N.Y., and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., and a Master’s in business from Babson College.
Mr. Beaven had been employed for many years as an engineer at Hewlett Packard in Andover until the time of his retirement.
Mr. Beaven was a resident of Rowley before moving to Peabody. “Papa” as he was affectionately known by his family, was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his two dogs, Lili and Heidi. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed by all he knew.
In addition to his wife, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer A. Pond and her husband, Daniel T. of Boston; two sons, Michael T. Beaven and his wife, Maureen A. of Mansfield, and Matthew C. Beaven and his wife, Dina M. of Beverly; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Erin, Emily, Samantha, Joseph, Robert, Nicholas, Christopher and Ryan; a brother, Robert G. Beaven and his wife, Elise of Charlotte, N.C.; nieces and nephews.
His funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly.
