Christine Pitts Miaskiewicz

September 22, 1948 - November 17, 2017

Christine Pitts Miaskiewicz, LPN, of Georgetown and Haverhill, Mass., age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 17, 2017, at Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire. She was born in Boston, Mass., to the late Pauline (Boumenot) Pitts and Noel R. Pitts, on September 22, 1948. Christine grew up in Georgetown, Mass., and was the eldest of five children. She graduated from Georgetown High School, Class of 1966. She continued her education at Lawrence Vocational School of Practical Nursing, earning a practical nursing certificate. For over 40 years, she embraced her career as a nurse and recently retired from Hogan Regional Center in Danvers, Mass. She was predeceased by her late parents, her brother, Thomas R. Pitts, and her daughter, LeeAnn Miaskiewicz.
Christine enjoyed the theater, musicals, the Beatles, especially Ringo Starr, the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox, playing KENO, crossword puzzles, lobster rolls with butter, and traveling with family and friends. She was always eager to share her vast medical knowledge with those she knew and loved.
Christine will be forever remembered by her brother, Robert P. Pitts and wife, Eileen of Wellesley, Mass.; her brother, David S. Pitts of Epping, N.H.; and her sister, Susan M. Pitts of Georgetown, Mass.; her niece, Rebecca M. Pitts of Pittsfield, Mass.; her treasured daughter, Ella Maisy Frances Phillips of Stoughton, Wisc.; and her special friend, John Kozik of Beverly, Mass.; along with countless relatives and friends whom were blessed to know her.
