Christina Laura Ann's Story
Christina Laura Ann Saviano, age 31, of Peabody formerly of Lynn, died at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday November 13, 2017, after a courageous battle with Advanced Parkinson’s Disease.
Born and raised in Lynn, Christina was the daughter of Laurie (Greenlaw) Saviano, of Wilmington and the late Victor Saviano II. She attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, Class of 2004. Christina then earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2008. She had lived in Lynn for the majority of her life before moving to Peabody three years ago.
Christina had worked as a Civil Engineer for the former Berry Construction. She had also worked for many years, while attending school, at Toomey’s Cleaners in Lynn.
She loved education and was continually taking courses to better her knowledge. She was a strong and independent woman and a great daughter and sister.
She is survived by her mother, Laurie Saviano and step-father David Gallugi, of Wilmington; her brother, Victor Saviano III and his wife, Cari, of Wakefield, her step-brothers and step-sisters, David Gallugi and his wife, Laura, Greg Gallugi, and his wife, Ashley, and Kayla Hensley and her husband, Jake, her grandparents, Connie and Tom Lydon, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Lola Saviano, of Charlestown, the late Keith Greenlaw and his wife Gisela, of Hamilton, her great-grandmother Mary Greenlaw, of Danvers, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her Funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Ann’s Church, Peabody. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
