Cheryl Tetrault Lopez

Cheryl Tetrault Lopez Lynn - Cheryl Tetrault Lopez, age 52, of Lynn, died Monday at the Kaplan Family Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of John and Dorothy "Darcy" (Madden) Tetrault of Peabody. A lifelong Lynn resident, Cheryl was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1984.
Cheryl worked as a charge entry clerk for North Shore Physicians Group in Peabody for the past nine years. She had also worked at Holiday Travel in Wakefield, and the New England Five and Dime. She was an active communicant of Sacred Heart Parish in Lynn, and was also active for many years with Boy Scout Troop 34, first as a Cub Scout Troop Leader and then as a Boy Scout Troop Leader. She was a coach and former member of the Board of Directors for Lynn Youth Soccer. She also loved music, and enjoyed travel, camping, hiking, kayaking, biking, and sewing.
In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her beloved son, Kyle Lopez of Lynn; her devoted siblings; Susan Richardson and spouse David of New Hampshire, John Tetrault, Jr. and spouse Denise of Haverhill, and William Tetrault and spouse Luzia of Lynn.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rt 129), Lynn, followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Lynn at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
