Charles A. Vogler Danvers - Charles A. Vogler, 75, passed away Friday January 18, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband of Helen (Copelas) Vogler. He was born in Salem to the late Leonard and Stacia (Graboska) Vogler. He was a graduate of Salem High School.
An honorary discharged veteran, he served in the United States Army during Vietnam War.
Charles was a lobsterman for most of this life. He was a member of the Massachusetts Lobster Association. He loved the ocean, fishing, gardening and most of all spending time with his family especially his granddaughters.
Surviving him in addition to his wife of 55 years of marriage is a daughter, Christine Dash and her husband Kevin of Beverly, and their two daughters Jordan and Holly. A sister, Joan Dombrowski of FL; and several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

His funeral service will be held in the Campbell Funeral Home 525 Cabot Street Beverly on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at 11a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Dear Helen, Christine, Holly, & Jordan
Eddie & I have a lot of memories when we were vacation in Salem, Ma. Staying at their home several times, having dinner enjoying Helen's homemade cooking and wonderful desert. It was always happy times sharing with their family joking and telling all types stories about our lives. My brother Charlie fought a long and courage battle and was a hero to the end, when our Lord had finally called him home. He is now at peace with no more suffering and living his eternal life with his Lord. Charlie was a wonderful brother to me always kind and loving.
