Barbara J. (McNiff) Tremblay, 88, of Beverly, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 7, 2017, at Ledgewood Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Raymond Tremblay, and the daughter of John and Jeannette (Leger) McNiff.
Barbara was born in South Salem and lived most of her life in that city, until she and Ray moved to Beverly. She adored her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she had much fun, and lots of lobster, with a special group of close friends.
Barbara was predeceased by her daughter, Ann Marie (Bunnie) Thompson. She is survived by her sons, James Tremblay and his wife, Susan of Peabody, Paul Tremblay and his wife, Linda Beattie of Peabody, David Tremblay and his wife, Susan of Wenham, and Michael Tremblay and his wife, Rebecca of Greenville, S.C. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
