Barbara M.'s Story
Barbara Mary (Dinsmore) Pelletier, 88, of Salem, passed away Wednesday evening in Kaplan Hospice House, Danvers. She was the wife of the late Alfred Pelletier.
Born in Lynn, Barbara was a graduate from Salem High School and worked for a time as a telephone operator before becoming a dedicated and loving mother of seven children. In more recent years, Barbara also became a devoted Nana always available and happy to babysit her five grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her children, William Pelletier and his wife, Nina of Salem, Edward Pelletier and his wife Lisa of Lynn, Norman Pelletier of Salem, Timothy Pelletier and his wife, Kerrie of Salem, Elaine Pelletier of Salem and Ellen Pelletier of Salem; her grandchildren, Danielle (Pelletier) and her husband, Jason Frampton, and Haley, Jessica, Samantha, and Cameron Pelletier; her great-grandson, Grayson Frampton; her daugther-in-law Donna Pelletier; her sister, Joan Hargrove of Danvers; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her loving husband, Alfred, Barbara was predeceased by her son, Thomas Pelletier; and her sister and best friend Frances Boltas.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. Salem, MA on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Burial will be private at a later date.
