Anne Marie's Story
Anne Marie Manning, 76, of Peabody, died Sunday morning at her home following a brief illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Roche) Murray. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School.
Anne was employed in the electronics field as an assembler for many years and upon her retirement, she continued to work as a waitress at Denny’s in Danvers for several more years.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Kathleen Murray of Lakeside Park, Ky.; and her niece and nephews, Christine Babicz of Medway, Thomas Murray of Newburyport and Kevin Murray of Lakeside Park, Ky.
Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5 until 6 p.m. followed by her funeral service at 6 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
