Alice Dorothy Genevieve (Pronski)'s Story
Mrs. Alice Dorothy Genevieve (Pronski) Wojciechowski, 86, of Salem, wife of the late Clarence Wojciechowski, died Friday, November 17, 2017, at The Atrium at Veronica Drive in Danvers.
Born in Salem, on September 12, 1931, at the residence of her parents, she was the daughter of the late Genevieve and Gabriel Pronski. Raised and educated in Salem, she graduated with honors from Salem High School with the Class of 1959. During her high school term, she was active in the Art Club, Basketball, Commercial Club, Geographical Society, Guidance Assistance, Jr. Class Officer as Vice President and a member of the National Honor Society.
After high school she attended the Bentley School in Boston and also the North Shore Community College, and took art instructions at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Mass.
She was a member of The Polish Falcons of America and was trained as an instructor teaching eurhythmics and Polish Folk Dances. She and her husband had a passionate interest in art and acquires a small collection of paintings and antiques for their residence. Together they also established a small shop as dealers of arts and antiques.
Alice is survived by her nieces, Debra Lou Stevens of Salem, Linda Sivak of Boxford; her nephews, Thomas Romagnoli of Kingston, N.H., and James Stevens Jr. of Bath, Maine; and extended family and friends. She was the sister of the late Lucy Stevens and Josephine Romagnoli.
Her funeral services are private. Assisting the family with the arrangements is The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq. (at Salem Common), Salem.
