Alexandria D.'s Story
Alexandria D. Mari, 30, formerly of Beverly, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017, due to complications from chronic asthma.
Born in Danvers, she was the daughter of Joseph E. and Martha Kelley-Mari of Beverly. She received her education at Covenant Christian School in Beverly, graduated from Beverly High School then continued her education at North Shore Community College, earning a certificate in cosmetology.
Ali had been employed for over 12 years as a hairstylist, and worked at Vintage Salon and Day Spa in Rowley the last 10 years. She enjoyed interacting with people, had a contagious laugh and always had a smile on her face.
Ali enjoyed the outdoors, horseback riding, skating, kayaking, fishing, boating and spending time in North Conway, N.H., with her friend, Laura Gadbois. Ali could light up any room she walked into and was always the life of the party. She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Gabrielle Mari of Beverly; her maternal grandmother, Dorrice Kelley-Barnes of Beverly; her paternal grandparents, Gabriel and Audrey (Wessinger) Mari of Stoneham; aunts and uncles, Bonnie and Brian Holden of England, Brenda and Mario Moccia of Somerville, Thomas and Charmaine Mari of Woburn and Cynthia Erickson of Beverly; as well as many cousins.
Her funeral service will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 4 Ocean Street, Beverly, Friday, November 10, 2017, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Contributions may be made in her memory to Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
